FR040 HAWKER FURY Manufacturer's Desk Model. An exquisitely crafted chrome-plated brass model of a Hawker Fury II biplane, 5 1/2" long with 6 1/2" wingspan, with landing gear with rolling wheels. Fine. The Fury first entered RAF service in 1931 and was a day fighter, replaced in 1939 by the Hawker Hurricane, after which it was used as a trainer.
