Many have asked for a section to include copy/replica items as they want filler items for more expensive originals found elsewhere on the site and I decided to oblige as I do come across a lot of replicas when I buy larger groupings. Items in this section come with no guarantee of authenticity for obvious reasons because they are being sold as reproductions/copies. Some of the copies are quite well-made while others are not and they themselves make an interesting study of the collecting experience, albeit at times unpleasant when one bought something only to later research it and find out they had been taken and stuck with a fake item.
Collecting relics goes back to the days when the soldiers first started scrounging for souvenirs during the War wanting to bring home mementos of their service overseas.
